You know one thing that makes me really happy?
When I call into customer service, and the person I talk to is in a good mood, it just brightens me up. And if they aren’t exactly happy, but I talk to them long enough politely and cheerfully, and then they brighten with me, it’s just the best feeling in the world.
I genuinely feel bad for people who work in the customer service business, because often people call in with the worst attitudes. Like, it’s not their fault, really. Just be nice to them, and you’ll often get better service.
