I’m trying so hard to get my thoughts down in a cohesive way but I don’t even know if this will make sense. I just keep alternating between anger and tears and so I might not know what I’m saying but if I don’t vent I won’t be able to sleep.

I enjoyed this episode. I really, really did. There were some great laugh-out-loud moments and the best sibling-interaction I’ve seen since I can’t remember. I honestly have never loved Spencer more than when I saw him care so much for his two sisters. I can even understand the idea of leaving certain things open-ended for a new show. I think the ending montage was really a great way of showing how much they treasure the past but are also looking forward to whatever new things the future would bring.

But the silly awkward feelings triangle between Sam, Freddie and Carly isn’t one of those things, and honestly, it ruined the whole episode for me.

I feel like I should be clear from the beginning that this is not just me being a baby and whining because of shipping. Am I sad that Sam and Freddie didn’t get together? Of course. But I could have lived with Creddie or even no shipping if there had been some closure.

And therein lies the problem. No. Damn. Closure.
